Edward graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Political Economy and has over 16 years of experience in US college admissions consulting across Asia and the United States.

He began his career in the premium education sector, working with prominent families and developing advanced test preparation and application strategies. As a founding member of New Pathway/EIC in China, he helped build one of the region’s most successful counselling models, focusing on student character, leadership, and authentic growth.

Edward later served as Chief Operating Officer at Aptive Education, leading the creation of a global edtech platform to scale personalized guidance. In 2024, he founded OG Admits to expand access to quality counselling for underrepresented students in the US.

At True North Education, Edward continues to lead a student-first approach that helps young people discover their strengths, define their passions, and take ownership of their educational journey.
